eSTATEMENTS: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is an eStatement?
An eStatement is an electronic format of your paper statement available online in Online Banking. What are the benefits of eStatements?
To enroll your account(s) for eStatements, login to Online Banking. Click on eStatements Enrollment from the account inquiry screen and follow the steps. You will receive an e-mail confirmation following account enrollment in eStatements. Is there a difference between my e-Statement and my paper statement? No. eStatements contain all the same information as your paper statement. Is there a fee for eStatements? eStatements are FREE. What software do I need to view eStatements? You need Adobe Reader to view, print, or save your statement. If you do not have the software, you can download Adobe Reader for free. How do I view my eStatement? Login to Online Banking and select your account. Click the eStatements button to proceed. For customers with checking accounts combined to one statement, you will need to select the primary account that is listed as the first account on your paper statement. How do I print my eStatement? To print an eStatement, use your web browser's print function. If you have saved the eStatement to your computer, you can print directly from the Acrobat Reader toolbar. How do I save my eStatement? To save an eStatement, select the "Save a Copy" icon and choose a file name for the statement. Are eStatements secure? Yes. All your financial information is protected within Online Banking by our Enhanced Online Security. If I sign-up for eStatements, will I still receive a paper statement? We will discontinue printing and mailing your paper statement. However, you can view, save, and print your eStatements anytime when you login to Online Banking. How will I know when my eStatement is available? An e-mail message will be sent to the e-mail address you specify during enrollment following the close of each statement cycle to let you know your statement is available. What happens if I do not receive notifications that my eStatement is available? There a few things you can check if you are not receiving notifications.
When will I have access to my eStatement once I enroll? Historical statements will be available through Online Banking in approximately one business day following enrollment. eStatements will be available at the same frequency as paper statements. Will I still be able to see images of my checks? Yes. If you currently receive check images with your paper statement, you will see the check images with your electronic statement. How long are eStatements available? You will see up to 18 months of your most recent statements. Which accounts are eligible to received eStatements? eStatements is available for all consumer checking accounts as well as all other accounts that are part of a combined statement. What is a combined statement? A combined statement is a checking account with one or more additional account(s) with the same ownership combined to a single statement. Can joint owners view eStatements? Yes. Joint owners can view eStatements as long as they have access to Online Banking. In order for the joint owner to view the eStatement they will also need to enroll the account in eStatements. For joint owner accounts enrolled in eStatements, can one owner receive eStatements and the other owner receive paper statements? If one account owner enrolls in eStatements, paper statements will no longer be mailed to any of the account owners.
